Our office utilizes state-of-the art, cutting-edge medical technologies, including:
Bone Stimulator
Bone Stimulators act by increasing osteoblastic activity across fracture ends and are used for fractures or injuries to bone where increased bone healing is required.
Custom Orthotics
Custom orthotics are biomechanical medical devices that are custom made and designed to stabilize the foot and ankle into the most anatomically efficient position to correct foot imbalances. We use digital scanning for a more precise impression of the feet as well as a faster turnaround service from our lab. We use plaster molding for more complicated foot types with severe biomechanical abnormalities.
Digital X-Ray
Instead of X-ray film, digital radiography uses a digital image capture device. This gives advantages of immediate image preview and availability; a wider dynamic range, which makes it more forgiving for over- and under-exposure; as well as the ability to apply special image processing techniques that enhance overall display quality of the image.
Keryflex
KeryFlex is a safe, non-systemic in-office application that restores the appearance of a patient’s natural nail(s). It allows for the remodeling of a patient’s nail(s) affected by fungus, trauma, or other nail dystrophies. This medical-grade resin creates a flexible, non-porous artificial nail which allows the remaining natural nail to grow. A KeryFlex nail provides an immediate cosmetic solution during any anti-fungal treatment regimen. It also provides an immediate cosmetic improvement to compliment laser nail procedures. A KeryFlex nail is durable and unaffected by acetone, nail polishes or detergents. If you’ve taken the step to treat your nails, and you’re concerned about their appearance, you don’t have to hide your feet. The KeryFlex™ nail restoration procedure produces a realistic nail substitute that allows you to show off your toes while your natural nail tissue grows underneath.

Nail Laser
Laser Services for Fungal Nails Many patients come to us concerned about wearing sandals due to their discolored, thickened, and damaged toenails. They are embarrassed because they are afraid someone may think poorly of them when they see the condition of their toenails. We know exactly how you feel because we treat patients that feel that way on a daily basis. We are proud to be the only podiatric office in North Texas to use the only cold laser FDA approved laser therapy on the market for treating yellow, crumbly, thick and unattractive nails. How Does It Work? Our Lunula Laser is FDA cleared for the treatment of Onychomycosis (toenail fungus), as well as for other causes of dystrophic toenails such as trauma or auto-immune disorders. The laser treatment is:
- painless,
- has no harmful side effects and
- can be performed quickly.
- Clearance of nails in an average of 6 months
- Cold laser treatment resulting in no risk of burning tissue which makes this a very safe treatment for our patients with co-morbidities such as diabetes
- Safe to use on bare skin for patients who have had major nail loss
- 89% of patients respond to this treatment
Laser therapy is not for everyone, so it’s important to be evaluated by a podiatric physician to evaluate the level of damage to the nail and determine if you are a candidate. Remember, that the earlier you detect and treat fungus, the better your chances are of once again achieving beautiful sandal-worthy toenails. How much does it cost? See Pricing for details. Not all nail fungus responds to laser treatment the same, therefore Carrollton Foot Center gives no guarantee of outcome. Some patients may need the maintenance option at their 6 month assessment to maintain clearing of nails or to continue treatment on an advanced case. Although insurance does not currently cover laser therapy, Care Credit, Health Savings Accounts and Flex Spending Accounts will cover the procedure.
Regenerative Stem Cell Therapy
Stem Cell Therapy If you have nagging, aching pains in your feet or ankles that won’t go away despite multiple conservative treatments, we have a non-surgical, option for you. Regenerative medicine is the newest conservative treatment modality, and it is now available at Carrollton Foot Center. What Conditions Benefit? By using minimally manipulated amniotic tissue, we can resolve the aches and pains:
- Plantar Fasciitis
- Osteoarthritis
- Toe Pain
- Heel & Ankle Pain
- Muscle/Ligament tears
- Achilles Tendonitis
- Ankle Sprains
Why Choose Regenerative Medicine? One of the reasons stem cell recruitment therapy, along with other regenerative medicine techniques like Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), is so attractive to patients is because it’s natural and doesn’t involve the hassle and risk of going to the operating room or the side effects of corticosteroid injections. This treatment usually consists of nothing more than a simple injection. An amniotic fluid injection is used for long-term healing options and not used to mask the pain. Using different techniques, we can almost eliminate any pain you might feel. The goal is to give patients high-quality care with minimal discomfort and downtime. Where Does the Amniotic Fluid Come From? The Amniotic Fluid is obtained during full-term cesarean births from healthy donors who have volunteered their placenta and amniotic fluid. Donation does not require fetal sacrifice.

Shockwave Therapy
Radial Pulse Shockwave Therapy is an FDA cleared technology proven to increase the rate of healing for soft tissue tendinopathy. It is the most advanced non-invasive and highly effective treatment method that enhances blood circulation and accelerates the healing process causing damaged tissue to gradually regenerate.
What conditions can be treated with RSWT?
- Plantar Fasciitis
- Achilles Tendinitis
- Neuromas
- Diabetic Wounds
How does RSWT work?
When you experience chronic pain, your body no longer recognizes that there is an injury to that area. As a result, it shuts down the healing process and you feel no relief. The ballistic sound waves of the Enpuls penetrate deep through your soft tissue, causing a microtrauma or new inflammatory condition to the treated area. Once this occurs, it then triggers your body’s natural healing response once again. The energy emitted also causes the cells in the soft tissue to release certain bio-chemicals that intensify the body’s natural healing process. These bio-chemicals allow for the building of an array of new microscopic blood vessels in the soft tissue.
